You better have some serious cred if you think you have a shot at dating R&B princess Rihanna. The singer has revealed rap mogul Jay-Z has assumed the role of screening men who are interested in a date.
“I just found out from a mutual friend that guys will talk to Jay first before they try to approach me,” People magazine quoted the Umbrella singer as saying.
“Jay has my best interests in mind. If it’s a good guy I know Jay won’t shut him down. But if he’s not, Jay will be like, ‘No, no, no.’”
Rihanna told People that her preference for a man is a ‘tall guy who has a sense of humor, loves to laugh, has a good time and good conversation.’ Her ideal date is simply ‘low key, just hanging out and watching a movie.’

Beyonce is set to make an honest man of rapper Jay-Z after accepting his marriage proposal during a romantic getaway together in Cannes.
The couple have enjoyed a long-term relationship and are now said to be ready to start a family together.
Beyonce recently said: “I want to get married and really want a family - in a perfect world I’d have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other.”
The wedding is set to be held in the fall in Hawaii. A source said: “This will be the hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hop weddings.”
Sources also say Jay-Z promised Beyonce “the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger.”
