The worst kept secret in celebrity circles appears to have been broken - Beyonce and Jay-Z are officially married.
The couple filed a signed wedding license last Friday in Scarsdale, New York, a spokesman for the village’s clerk’s office reportedly said.
Beyonce was also spotted recently at her hubby’s gig in Atlanta sporting a huge rock on her ring finger.
But Beyonce’s sister Solange is still playing it coy.
She reportedly answered US Magazine reporters who quizzed her on the ceremony: “What night are you talking about? Friday? Hmm. Friday. I really don’t [know],” and “I have no idea!”
“Family is family, and we’re all [a] very tight-knit, protective family,” she added.
I think you can give it up now Solange.

Jay-Z has revealed he may turn his attention to making movies after he’s done with his next two albums.
The rapper has been encouraged by his wife Beyonce who has enjoyed success on the silver screen, and feels his passion for movies can lead to only good things in front of the camera.
“I want to get into the movie business,” Jay-Z says. “I love films and that’s why I feel I would do a good job. My recording contract runs out after two more albums. Who knows what I will do after that.”

Jay-Z has announced a short UK tour to coincide with his appearance at the Glastonbury Festival this summer.
The rap artist will play a number of dates in England, Scotland and Wales for fans in the UK. The dates are as follows:
Bournemouth International Centre – July 15th
Cardiff International Arena – July 16th
Manchester, Evening News Arena – July 19th
Glasgow, SECC – July 20th
Aberdeen Exhibition Centre - 21st
Tickets for the shows will go on sale on Friday, April 18th, from 9am UK time.

Hip hop star Jay-Z has been revealed as the final headlining artist for the 2008 Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
The rapper will be joined by other prominent acts Radiohead and My Bloody Valentine.
If you’re attending the festival, you’ll also be see performances from The Chemical Brothers, Kings of Leon, Gnarls Barkley and MGMT.
The festival runs from July 3rd-6th.
Jay-Z will also headline at the legendary Glastonbury Festival in England for the first time this year. Traditionally a rock and pop festival, Glastonbury is opening up to more Urban acts this year and Jay-Z is seen as the ideal man to announce that in a big way.

It does now seem certain that Beyonce and rapper Jay-Z got married last week in a secret ceremony.
Mary J. Blige gave a shout out to the couple during her show on Saturday night saying: “Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B.”
Blige is currently doing a series of shows with Jay-Z in a “Heart Of The City” tour and is known to be close to the couple.
However, it was business as usual for Jay-Z who performed his set without giving any clues he had recently wed his sweetheart B. He wasn’t seen to be sporting any wedding rings either!
Jay-Z only reference his partner once during the show when he switched into a few seconds of “Crazy In Love” during his set before saying “Sorry B”.

Beyonce and Jay-Z got hitched this past weekend according to a report in People Magazine - following frenzied media speculation all week.
The rapper finally made an honest woman of Bee with a private ceremony in New York according to rumors circulating around the media.
“It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family,” a friend was quoted as telling People Magazine.
The ceremony was reportedly followed by a party at Jay-Z’s Tribeca apartment that included Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles, her father Matthew, sister Solange, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams (her former band mates from Destiny’s Child) and Gwyneth Paltrow.
One of Jay-Z’s favorites DJ Cassidy was hired to spin the records at the party.
“Cassidy mentioned a week ago that he was really excited for the Jay Z and Beyoncé’s wedding party to happen,” the friend was quoted as saying.
Congratulations to the happy couple if the story is true! At the time of writing, there is still no official confirmation from the couple or anyone associated with them.

Beyonce is set to make an honest man of rapper Jay-Z after accepting his marriage proposal during a romantic getaway together in Cannes.
The couple have enjoyed a long-term relationship and are now said to be ready to start a family together.
Beyonce recently said: “I want to get married and really want a family - in a perfect world I’d have two boys and a girl. You know someone loves you by the way he treats you and respects you. Me and Jay respect each other.”
The wedding is set to be held in the fall in Hawaii. A source said: “This will be the hip-hop wedding to end all hip-hop weddings.”
Sources also say Jay-Z promised Beyonce “the biggest diamond she can fit on her finger.”

After months of speculations about singer Beyoncé Knowles’ wedding to her rapper boyfriend Jay-Z, sources have claimed that the couple won’t be saying, “I do” anytime soon.
A friend close to Beyonce revealed that the pair is still very much in love, but there’s no wedding on the cards as Beyonce is concentrating on her career right now.
“They are still very much an item and in love, but there will be no summer wedding - or any wedding this year for that matter. Jay wants to settle down, but Beyoncé is not about to step off the gas as far as her career is concerned,” Hollywoodrag quoted the source, as saying.
“She told Jay he is going to have to wait a while before she is ready to walk down the aisle,” the source added.
Even though Beyonce has asked for some more time, she does want to tie the knot with Jay-Z.
The former ‘Destiny’s Child’ singer, recently confessed that she wants to settle down with Jay and have a baby.
“Of course I want to get married. My parents have been married for 27 years, and they’re still in love. That’s a great example for me. I know it’s possible. I think about the future, I want to have a family. I want to be happy,” Beyonce said.
